If you are looking to binge-watch a light-hearted rom-com with heart-touching moments, then this series is just for you! We believe it is safe to admit that this show expanded the fandom of TVF (The Viral Fever). It was the first-ever Indian web series to be dispatched on YouTube. Now, it has established itself as one of the cult Indian web series. Tanya (Nidhi Singh) and Mikesh (Sumeet Vyas) are the lead pair of this romantic story. After being in a long-distance relationship, the latter returns from the US and asks her hand for marriage. Tanya hesitates at first but later offers him to move in with her. It is like a rollercoaster ride of emotions mixed with the consequences of their choices.

The Family Man (2019-present)

After building an illustrious career in the Bollywood film industry, it was time for Manoj Bajpayee to shine on the platforms of web series as well. And he did not disappoint his fans with his amazing character in this show. He plays the role of an analyst who works for a branch of the National Investigating Agency (NIA). He discovers a secret plan of a terrorist attack in the first season. The upcoming instalment is scheduled to release in June 2021.

Mirzapur (2018-present)

The man sitting on the chair in the above photo is enough to describe the popularity of this show in India. A simple nod of Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) brings a smile to our faces. Memorable dialogues, gripping storyline, unforgettable characters, and a large fanbase (thanks to the Indian meme community) has hailed it as one of the top Indian web series of all time. Kaleen Bhaiya, along with his son Munna (Divyendu Sharma), runs his illegal business of drugs and weapons in Mirzapur. Both of their journeys become twisty after hiring the Pandit Brothers (Bablu and Guddu).

Special OPS is another fine entry in Neeraj Pandey’s directional career. Previously known for his notable movies like Special 26, Baby, and others, Pandey impressed everyone with this action-packed espionage series. Kay Kay Menon delivered an amazing lead performance as Himmat Singh. His character is a senior officer at RAW (Research and Analysis Wing). TVF Aspirants

TVF Aspirants (2021)

This series concluded on a high note with its recently released final episode. Despite being low on budgets, TVF is prominent in delivering innovative and mesmerizing shows for its viewers. This channel dares to touch those subjects that we have ignored for a long time period of time. They have been an important part of our Indian society. But we do not think about them anymore. One of them is the struggle of all the aspirants to get a government job in India. The series focuses on the tales of three friends who are also UPSC aspirants.

Sacred Games (2018-2019)

“Kabhi kabhi lagta hain ki apun hi bhagwan hai!”

You are looking at a series that popularised the culture of web series in our country. It also helped Netflix in establishing a huge market in the Indian subcontinent. The stellar cast of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Pankaj Tripathi, Kalki Koechlin, and others performed brilliantly in this series. Nawaz received special praise for portraying Ganesh Gaitonde. It begins with a police inspector named Sartaj Singh. He gets a mysterious call from Gaitonde. The latter reveals that the city of Mumbai has 25 days to save itself. As Sartaj moves forward with his investigation, he finds out the connection between Gaitonde and his father.

Despite ending the second season with a major cliffhanger, the future of the series is still not clear. Siddiqui has already stated that all parts of Vikrama Chandra’s novel have been covered in the show. So, the chances of the release of a third season are quite low.

Kota Factory

Kota Factory (2019-present)

We know that thousands of students come to Kota every year for getting their admissions into top-quality coaching classes. They try to prepare themselves for appearing in various entrance exams here. This series is also based on the same case. The black and white tone brings out the hard work, pain, suffering, and sacrifice of those children. It elegantly portrays how children in India are forced to prepare for these exams and how society judges them if they fail to clear them. It targets the ill-mentality of the people in India. It stars Jitendra Kumar, Ahsaas Channa, Mayur More, Alam Khan, and many more.
