People were not that excited about this show! But thanks to its positive word of mouth, it received a place among the best tv-series of 2020. It was praised for its dark tone, performances, and storyline. The plot includes a local police officer named Hathiram Chowdhary. Surprisingly, he finds himself entangled in a high-profile case. The more he investigates, the more he finds himself deep in the roots of the underworld. The supporting cast consists of Gul Panag, Neeraj Kabi, Ishwak Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, and others.

Permanent Roommates

If you are looking to binge-watch a light-hearted rom-com with heart-touching moments, then this series is just for you! We believe it is safe to admit that this show expanded the fandom of TVF (The Viral Fever). It was the first-ever Indian web series to be dispatched on YouTube. Now, it has established itself as one of the cult Indian web series. Tanya (Nidhi Singh) and Mikesh (Sumeet Vyas) are the lead pair of this romantic story. The Family Man

After building an illustrious career in the Bollywood film industry, it was time for Manoj Bajpayee to shine on the platforms of web series as well. And he did not disappoint his fans with his amazing character in this show. He plays the role of an analyst who works for a branch of the National Investigating Agency (NIA). He discovers a secret plan of a terrorist attack in the first season. The upcoming instalment is scheduled to release in June 2021.

Mirzapur

Memorable dialogues, gripping storyline, unforgettable characters, and a large fanbase (thanks to the Indian meme community) has hailed it as one of the top Indian web series of all time. Kaleen Bhaiya, along with his son Munna (Divyendu Sharma), runs his illegal business of drugs and weapons in Mirzapur. Both of their journeys become twisty after hiring the Pandit Brothers (Bablu and Guddu).

Special OPS

Special OPS is another fine entry in Neeraj Pandey’s directional career. Previously known for his notable movies like Special 26, Baby, and others, Pandey impressed everyone with this action-packed espionage series. Kay Kay Menon delivered an amazing lead performance as Himmat Singh. His character is a senior officer at RAW (Research and Analysis Wing). He finds out that a single person is responsible for executing various terrorist attacks in India. He employs five RAW agents in different parts of the world for this mission.

Nawaz received special praise for portraying Ganesh Gaitonde. It begins with a police inspector named Sartaj Singh. He gets a mysterious call from Gaitonde. The latter reveals that the city of Mumbai has 25 days to save itself. As Sartaj moves forward with his investigation, he finds out the connection between Gaitonde and his father.

Despite ending the second season with a major cliffhanger, the future of the series is still not clear. Siddiqui has already stated that all parts of Vikrama Chandra’s novel have been covered in the show. So, the chances of the release of a third season are quite low.
