Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

After the success of its previous instalment, Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), the executives at Marvel decided to give a green flag on the production of its third instalment. Director Peyton Reed has returned for this project. It is currently filming in Turkey. If all goes well, we can see it in theatres in February 2023. The primary cast consisting of Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Micheal Douglas, and others are returning to grace us with their presence.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Director James Gunn was fired from the production of the third Guardians instalment when some of his early controversial tweets emerged on the internet. But soon, he was reinstated to his original post after the main cast demanded his return. Gunn has already wrapped the production works of The Suicide Squad. Its filming is expected to commence in late 2021.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Coming with their first-ever Asian lead, MCU is planning to explore the world of actual Mandarin in this movie. The character of Fu Manchu was not selected as the father of Shang-Chi due to some copyright issues. Fans were unhappy with the trashy treatment of Mandarin in Iron Man 3 (2012). So, we can expect a huge improvement in this character’s arc. Shang-Chi’s father, Mandarin, gives him ten years to live his life to the fullest. But his world turns upside down when his father forces him to join the Ten Rings organization. Under the direction of Destin Daniel Cretton, the fans will witness Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) confronting his past and dealing with his present life.

Black Widow

A large portion of Marvel diehard fans wanted Natasha Romanoff’s own movie in the theatres. And Kevin Feige did not disappoint them when he announced the Black Widow project in 2018. It is still debated that this film deserved to be the first female superhero movie in MCU instead of Captain Marvel (2019). However, we can still celebrate Natasha’s return on the big screen after her heartbreaking death in Endgame (2019). The movie takes place right after the events of Captain America: Civil War (2016). We will see the beautiful Scarlett Johansson alongside Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, David Harbour, and others. The villain, Taskmaster, is making its debut on the big screen as well.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Right after the release of Black Panther (2018), Ryan Coogler was hired to direct its sequel. However, the plot has changed completely after the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman due to cancer. Marvel Studios has decided not to recast the role of T’Challa out of respect for Boseman. Many believe that Shuri is expected to take the mantle of Black Panther in the upcoming instalment. We have no official confirmation about this rumour. But the principal cast consisting of Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, and others are expected to return.

Thor: Love and Thunder

The fans watched Thor departing with the Guardians after the events of Endgame. Many of us were wondering about the future of the titular character. But the official confirmation made by Feige at San Diego’s Comic-Con in 2019 verified the arrival of the fourth Thor entry. Eternals

Eternals is being hailed as one of the most ambitious projects of MCU. Its production has been completed. The executives at Marvel are delighted with what they have in their hands. It is rumoured that Kevin Feige and his team are in love with this movie. If this rumour turns out to be true, then we are looking at one of the best movies in the history of MCU. The principal cast consisting of Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Gemma Chan, Kit Harrington, and many more are present in this movie. It explores the origins of a fictional superhero race known as the Eternals. They have resided among humans for more than 7,000 years. They come out of their disguises to protect the Earth from the attacks of their counterparts, the Deviants.

Fantastic Four

After witnessing the horrifying reboot of the Fantastic Four movie, almost all of us started to believe that the franchise has met its demise. But Kevin Feige had different plans when he decided to resurrect this franchise again. When Disney bought the rights of Fantastic Four, every diehard Marvel fan speculated that all these characters would come back to life again. And they did! Thanks to the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
