Salman Khan… a name that guarantees big box office collections even if his movies are nothing but a pure dud. It is not like Bhai always delivers a bad movie. Some of his instalments like Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, Tere Naam, Dabangg, Bajrangi Bhaijaan have received critical acclaim. Biwi Ho To Aisi (1988) marked his first appearance in the Bollywood film industry. He also grabbed the Filmfare Award (Best Debut) for Maine Pyar Kiya. He had a decent career run until 1999. The period of 2000-09 nearly buried his career because of his horrible projects. However, Dabangg (2010) breathed new fire in his scattered career. Since then, he has starred in various commercially successful films. But his recent projects have demented the audience because of their absurd plots and wooden acting performances. As for logic and physics in his movies, add RIP before them and move on!

Veer

Veer was hailed as Salman Khan’s dream project. With Bhai himself penning down the screenplay and Anil Sharma at the helm, it became one of the most anticipated movies of 2010. But all of their efforts went in vain. Despite consisting of Sajid-Wajid’s amazing songs and decent action sequences, the movie failed horribly. A strange British period story combined with Katrina Kaif lookalike actress and over-the-top acting performance of Salman thrashed it for good. The same goes for Anil Sharma’s directional career as well. Yes, he is the same guy who directed Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001).

Jai Ho

This movie was the official remake of Chiranjeevi’s Stalin (2006). The latter turned out to be a critical and commercial success. But we can’t say the same for Bhai’s remake. Jai Ho is nothing but a mess from start to end. It seemed like Salman was trying to open a business for outdated performers like Sunil Shetty, Aditya Pancholi, Sharad Kapoor, Ashmit Patel, and so many more. No doubt that the intentions behind the movie looked noble but their execution was an utter misfire. Once again, Bhai decided to launch a newcomer here who is now an outdated performer as well.

Kyon Ki

It is bad enough to even think about torturing mentally ill patients in real life. But this movie may do the job perfectly. Director Priyadarshan has made a name for delivering some of the most memorable comedy masterpieces like Hulchul, Garam Masala, Hera Pheri series, Chup Chup Ke, and others. But his only collaboration with Salman Khan turned out to be the worst mistake of his life. Critics and moviegoers lambasted this film and termed it as an absolute insult to mentally ill patients. The plot looks promising in the beginning but slowly begins to flush down the gutter. Poor Kareena! No wonder she gets admitted to the asylum in the end.

God Tussi Great Ho

No other remake could have slaughtered Jim Carrey’s classic Bruce Almighty like this one did! Like Carrey, Salman also receives godly powers in the film. Guess what happens next? Bhai, with the help of his powers, does irreparable damage to the entire movie. It looks like the entire movie is assembled from the leftovers of Carrey’s 2003 project. We cannot help but feel sorry for Priyanka and Amit Ji here!

Yuvvraaj

Rain Man (1988) became a critical and box office hit for its outstanding acting performances and incredible screenplay. On the other hand, Bollywood’s habit of killing authentic cinematic projects is no more hidden from the Indian masses. Yuvvraaj is just another epitome of this scenario. The year 2008 could have been a remarkable one for Subhash Ghai for his mesmerizing project, Black and White (2008). But no, he had to release this junk. The result of giving Rain Man’s storyline a Bollywood touch was pretty horrendous. No wonder it flopped at the box office.

Tubelight

After the scintillating success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), the audience was hyped to witness the second collaboration between director Kabir Khan and megastar Salman Khan. But it gave them nothing but pure disappointment. A lot of people are still sad for wasting their money on this movie. The leading man’s overloaded emotional and optimistic scenes tormented us the most. The only brilliant thing in this slow-paced and boring melodrama is the end credits.

Chal Mere Bhai

David Dhawan is known for his legendary alliance with Govinda as he has dispatched most of his blockbusters with him. We wish it could have been the same with Salman Khan as well. This movie was released as a comedy-drama. But all we get are lame jokes and a poor storyline. The performances of the cast are not enough to cover its utterly cliched plot. It ended up being a big commercial failure at the box office.

Main Aurr Mrs Khanna

This movie will not torture you. We are damn sure about it! However, you can get a nice good little sleep for a couple of hours just by watching it. Its storyline has no heart. It feels like a terribly recycled version of Hollywood romantic dramas. Despite Sohail Khan getting most of the screentime, Salman becomes the leading man here. Do you know that Deepika Padukone has played a cameo in this movie? Yup, we know it is not an enjoyable fact!

Race 3

Tips Films made a great mistake when they chose Bhai (or should we call him Bhoi?) instead of Saif for the third instalment of the Race series. Additionally, we still do not know why Remo D’Souza was hired for directing this former Abbas-Mustan project. Saif was one of the major highlights of this franchise. Fans loved his charisma and dialogue delivery. On the other hand, Salman and the rest of the circus have officially buried this series for good.

Radhe

Just when we began to think that Salman could not give a disaster like Race 3, he dispatched Radhe! It shamelessly borrows its entire screenplay from a Korean movie named The Outlaws (2017) and shatters it in the worst way possible. Even Randeep Hooda was unable to save this movie from being a complete catastrophe. Disha Patani might not have lost her life this time, but her presence means nothing here. Even the diehard Bhai fans may have a hard time digesting this piece of crap inside their guts.
