However, she has failed to impress at the highest level. Ferling couldn’t bag as many wickets as expected and thus was ousted from the side. She last played for Australia in 2016. Taniya comes from cricketing family background. Her father, Sanjay Bhatia, was an all India University level cricketer. She was trained by Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh during her younger days and she also honed her skills under the guidance of RP Singh. Taniya made her debut for India in 2018 and continues to be an integral part of the squad.

Sarah became the first woman cricketer to have played men’s grade cricket in Australia when she appeared as wicketkeeper for Northern Districts in 2015. She plies her trade for Sussex in domestic cricket and was named in the ICC Women’s ODI Team of the Year back in 2017. Sarah has got a huge following on Instagram.

Cricket wasn’t the first-choice sport for Natalie during her younger days as she likened football and tennis. But some highly impressive domestic performances paved way for her to make her international debut. She is a genuine all-rounder. A skiddy customer with the ball, she can also smash the ball long and hard.

Joyce made her debut in 2001 and has been around for several years. She comes from a cricketing family and her twin sister Isobel Joyce has also represented Ireland at the highest level.

Her three brothers, Dominick Joyce, Ed Joyce and Gus Joyce have all played for Ireland. Ed is regarded as one of the best cricketers ever produced by Ireland and has also plied his trade for England. She amassed 1172 runs in the 50-over format while also scored 659 runs in the shortest format of the game.

She is only the second player after Heather Knight to have scored a half-century and picked up a five-wicket haul in W-ODI cricket. In 2017, she was named Women’s Cricketer of the Year at CSA’s annual awards. Apart from being one of the few South African cricketers to have a central contract, Suné Luus was also named in the Brisbane Heat squad for the 2018-19 season.

Indian legendary fast bowler Jhulan Goswami inspired Kainat to become a fast bowler when they met each other in 2005.

Kainat made her international debut in 2010 and has been around for quite a while now. However, because of her inconsistency, she hasn’t got to represent Pakistan in as many games as she would have liked. She was also a part of the team at the 2010 Asian Games that won gold.

The apex cricket council even named her the ODI Player of the Year at the same time. She is one of the first Indian cricketers to sign a WBBL contract and the first Indian player to feature in the Kia Super League.
