Arijit Singh (born April 25, 1987) is an Indian singer-composer. He primarily sings in Hindi and Bengali, but he has also performed in a number of other Indian languages. He has received a National Award as well as a record six Filmfare Awards. He is frequently considered as one of the top singers in the Indian and Pakistani music industry, and he has a large fan base across South Asia. He is often referred to as the “King of Playback Singing.”

Singh began his career in 2005 when he appeared on the reality show Fame Gurukul, but he did not achieve broad fame until the release of “Tum Hi Ho” and “Chahun Main Ya Naa” in 2013.

It became successful, remaining in the top 10 of Planet Bollywood for eight weeks and capturing the first spot on MTV India’s Top 20 for seven weeks. ‘Tum hi ho,’ a romantic number featuring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, is featured on the album.
