This communications and observation tower, which stands about 500 metres above the city on the side of Mount Namsan, offers spectacular views of the city. A cable car will take you up the mountainside to the base of the tower. There’s also a digital observatory, which uses LED screens and cameras positioned at the top of the tower to provide a live, 360-degree view to persons with height difficulties. The views from the top of the tower are spectacular, but so are the views from most other sections of the city.

The Lotte World Tower superstructure is one of Seoul’s latest highlights. It stands 500 metres tall and is one of the world’s highest buildings. On the 123rd floor, there are many interior and outdoor observation spaces. The views are breathtaking both during the day and at night, with 360-degree views of the city. The Sky Deck, which has the world’s highest glass floor, is located on the 118th floor. The floor transforms from opaque to clear as if by miracles, terrifying unknowing tourists. Even making it to the top is a thrill, thanks to the super-fast, double-decker escalators that take you there.

Gyeongbokgung Palace is the largest of Seoul’s five grand palaces, originally constructed in 1395 during the strong Joseon dynasty.  It was demolished and rebuilt numerous times over the centuries before being returned to its former glory after Second world war and then completely restored in the 1990s. The National Palace Museum of Korea too is located on the royal palace, and it is particularly interesting because it houses antiquities from the Joseon Dynasty’s royal palace. This includes both valuable antiques and illustrations, as well as relatively common items.

The Blue House is Korea’s version of the White House. Korea’s version of the White House is known as the Blue House. It houses the Korean president’s official residence along with his and associated executive positions of state. The Blue House is a campus of buildings constructed in the traditional Korean style and involving the distinctive blue roofing shingles which thus give it its identity. The long hours tour takes you to various areas of the palace. Conference rooms, reception rooms, and the Korean variant of the Rose Garden, where the Korean president holds media events, are all part of the structure.

Gwanghwamun Gate, the largest and most important gate to Seoul’s Gyeongbokgung Palace, hosts the routine shifting of the guards ceremony at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The gate has experienced multiple refurbishments and rebuildings, the most recent of which occurred in 2010 when it was rebuilt with traditional elements and returned to its original position.\

SeMa, as it’s recognised to locals, is a large collection of paintings, mostly from the modern era, that’s situated behind the Deoksugung Palace. Although the art museum concentrates on Korean art and artists, it does have a fantastic collection of regional and global works and creators. In a large building, the collection is displayed over three floors. Formerly, the Korean Supreme Court used to be housed there.

Bongeunsa is one of several Buddhist temples in Seoul and the surrounding area. It is a collection of multiple buildings and shrines that first decided to open in the year 794. It’s simple to get there from because it’s in the heart of the fascinating Gangnam district. The shrine is located on either side of a low hill and is a famous attraction for convention attendees to relax and enjoy the scenery.
